Razer Blackwidow Lite Mechancal Keyboard

Introduction

My previous keyboard was Ducky One 2 Skyline, which was a very high quality mechanical keyboard
for gaming. The keycap is double shooted and it has full size body. But this Blackwidow Lite is totally
different, its keycap was cut to half height, however the switch is still full height, so it looks like thinner
but it physical size is the same as my previous keyboard.

Appearance

Appearance of Razer product are always fancy. The front side panel is made of metal and since this
product is office oriented, there are less Razer logo compare to other Razer product and there is no
RGB lighting which would be very awkward if someone see such thing in a office. 

Typing Experience

The laser cut keycap make the character very hard to recognize, so I have to always turn on the
backlight so it’s easier to type. The build-in firmware can adjust the backlit in 19 stage, so one can
always find the prefer brightness on this keyboard.

The Razer orange switch is the same as Cherry brown switch, there are some o-ring included in the
box, after install them, it feel like no different on the sound but the bottom-force is softer, I believe if
someone have to type with this keyboard all day long would feel more comfortable with o-ring on. The
Razer Synapse software is very functional, every key can be remap to a macro. Ex: you can assign
copy macro ctr+c to F4, so next time you want to copy, just press the F4 button instead of find ctr+c,
this save time and make typing experience smoother. 

Every long key on the keyboard have balance mechanism, so when you want to type fast and only
press on the edge of the shift key, it perform and feel like press on the center.
